Since today is International Children’s Book Day, we encouraged authors in our CleanWIP Facebook group to tell us about any children’s books they have written. Melinda Kinsmen has written many. Her latest, Never Ask A Wizard, released just over a week ago. It is the sixth book of her Never Ask series. Her original series, Top of the Wardrobe Gang, follows a group of cute, albeit very messy, monsters.
Use the #CleanWIP hashtag with lines from a WIP and your tweet might be included in a https://t.co/yUHUbxZp23 collaboration for authors who lean clean and readers who love them. #CleanWIP Half-Price Bride: “Where are my manners? “Emily, this is Alissia, my little sister. Alissia, this is Miss Emily Hammons.”— Laurean Brooks (@Laurean2) April 2, 2020
Alissia tossed her head. “Clint still calls me his ‘little sister’ when I’ll be sixteen in October.”
“Still a child,” Clint stated matter-of-factly.
“Yes, It’s a perfect reminder of what we’re working for. Or, it will be, if it ever gets hung up.” She stared at Ellie pointedly.— Jessica Marie Holt — Author (@Jessica06311722) April 2, 2020
Ellie’s green eyes narrowed. “All right, June. I’ll hang it up if you stop nagging. I’m not a child. And, you’re spoiling the mood.” #cleanWIP
“Is this him?” Daanie frowned. He wasn’t what she’d imagined. Perhaps, underneath the torn, dirty slicker and unkempt beard, they’d find the broad shoulders and the fine, square jaw of their ancestors.— Lea Carter (@LeaCarterWrites) April 3, 2020
“Must be him, child.” Cort eyed the sodden man with misgivings.#cleanwip
